Game devs join forces with War Child for Armistice Day Fundraiser

UK based charity War Child, the only specialist charity supporting children affected by conflict, is teaming up with a number of game devs to boost the profile of its inaugural Armistice Day Fundraiser.

As noted by PCGamesN, Wargaming, Ink Stories, Positech, and Blackmill Games have all joined the cause, and will be supporting the initiative by dishing out unique micro-transactions and DLC packs, as well as donating sales revenue.

Wargaming is offering World of Tanks players packs of three or ten peace emblems, which they can slap on their respective war machines. The packs will cost €1.99 and €4.99, with all proceeds going to War Child.

Verdun creator Blackmill Games will raise awareness by selling a Christmas Truce expansion pack, featuring snowball fights and football matches, from December 16 to 31.

Positech and Ink Stories will also be showing their support by donating sales revenue from their games Democracy 3 and 1979 Revolution: Black Friday for a few days from November to December. Come from VP bet
